Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Portugal, Casa Albelo do Gerês was truly the highlight of our romantic escape. From the moment we arrived, Miguel and Fernando made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality-something that every traveler appreciates, but it's particularly special when it's heartfelt and genuine. Our cozy bungalow boasted a stunning view from the terrace, making each morning feel like a dream. What really made our stay unforgettable was the culinary experience; every meal was packed with locally sourced ingredients that Miguel prepared with passion, reminding me of the care with which we must approach marine conservation in my own field. The hikes around the area were equally remarkable, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning rock formations. I can't recommend Casa Albelo enough-this sanctuary is a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and top-notch service. If you're looking for a slice of heaven, you've found it here!
